Lisa Boland, Principal Psychologist
Founder and Principal of our practice Lisa saw a need for quality mental health care in her semi rural home town and jumped at the opportunity to provide this in her own space. The practice quickly grew so that more services could be offered to a broader range of clients.
Lisa has over a decade of experience in both the private and not for profit sector. She works with clients of all ages through her preferred modalities of CBT, ACT, Play Therapy and EMDR. Lisa is also a parent to two young boys and has a passion for sharing her clinical and life experience with other families using a compassion and neuroscience based approach to parenting.
Lisa has a particular interest in working with the Neurodivergent community. She offers assessments to identify Autism and ADHD in adults, supports neurodiverse families navigating life in a neurotypical world and tailors all interventions to her client’s neurotype.
Julie Lynch, Psychotherapist
Julie is an experienced Counsellor with a Bachelor in Counselling as well as a Masters in Social Work. Julie has experience with clients of all ages and many presentations using a combination of psychological interventions and strategies to suit each individual client.
Julie is a wife and a mother of four grownup children and has a wealth of lived experience that she enjoys sharing and using to help others. Julie has worked across a diverse array of the community in many clinical settings including not for profit, hospital and now within private practice, she enjoys the fulfilment that comes from being an agent of change to facilitate positive growth and development within each individual she connects with.
Julie has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents. She also has vast experience with clients experiencing or escaping family violence, grief and loss, family crisis and workplace issues.
Louise Green, Psychologist
Louise is an experienced Psychologist having worked in the not for profit, government, and private sectors. Louise balances her week between motherhood, private practice and her work as a School Counsellor. Louise enjoys the balance of working with clients of all ages and has a special interest in neurodiversity, anxiety disorders, and gender diversity.
Louise has a passion for learning and will be undertaking a Masters of Clinical Psychology for Registered Psychologists in 2024. Louise is also a qualified primary school teacher, however, learnt early on that she wanted to dedicate her time working at an individual / family level.
Louise is credentialed in treating eating disorders and is an accredited Cool Kids and Secret Agent Society facilitator. Louise’s preferred modalities include CBT, IPT, Play Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Louise prides herself in creating a safe space for clients to seek support and achieve their therapeutic goals.
Michelle Everett, Psychologist
With more than 14 years practice as a Registered Psychologist and many years working in mental health previous to that, Michelle brings a wealth of experience to her clients. Michelle has worked in both private practice and organisational settings including many years as a school Psychologist working primarily with autistic individuals. Michelle currently sees adults age 16+ for psychological counselling and treatment using a client centred, trauma informed, neuro-affirming approach via Face-to-Face and Telehealth.
Michelle’s has a wide area of practice including anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, stress management, phobias, panic, neurodivergence, life transition and adjustment, rehabilitation and return to work, pain management, chronic health issues, issues related to Fibromyalgia, Myalgic encephalomyelitis /Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, bullying/harassment, work related burn out, assertiveness training, and sleep disturbance. Michelle’s preferred modes of therapy include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness Techniques. Michelle also incorporates aspects of polyvagal theory, and somatic approaches in her work.
In addition to counselling for adults, Michelle also offers cognitive, academic, adaptive and diagnostic assessments.
When Michelle isn’t working she loves spending time with her husband, two kids, and two dogs, doing photography, drawing, drinking coffee with friends, and going for walks.
